Welcome to the sailing season for 2025 – 2026.  Here are the Sailability dates for the summer season with a 11 o’clock start and finish about 3-4pm.

Sailability SA has four Hansa Class 3.03 two person dinghies and two single-handed Liberty dinghies for experienced sailors stored at Adelaide Sailing Club. Future sailors go out with an experienced sailor in the 2-person 3 metre dinghy and have one-on-one instruction; life jackets are provided. Family and friends are welcome to go out in the powered rescue craft to take photographs. All you need to bring is a light jacket, hat and sunscreen and a sense of humour! There is a hoist on the pontoon for volunteers to transfer sailors from their chair to the dinghy and shade on the upper deck to keep empty wheelchairs out of the sun. The restaurant is open for lunch and is fully accessible.

The Sailability program is free for members of Sailability SA and there is a $15 cost for casual sailors. Give Deirdre a call a couple of days before the date so we can ensure that you have plenty of time on the water. Her mobile number is 0404 033 327.
