National Discover Sailing Day

Adelaide Sailing Club will again be taking part in National Discover Sailing day this Sunday 23rd October. This is a great opportunity to showcase our club and the sport of sailing  and lets the community know that sailing clubs are great places to spend time and sailing is a fun, safe, accessible sport that welcomes new participants.

Participants can register here

In order to make this day a success we are calling on volunteer support from all our members. If you are available to help launch boats, take people out for a sail, serve in the canteen etc. then please email Vice Commodore Malcolm Hughes at ASAP.  A great way to promote your class to potential members!

Even better, this coincides with our next ” Band on the Balcony” event. After volunteering why not make a day of it and come upstairs and enjoy one of Adelaide’s most popular bands, “Shaken Not Stirred” playing from 1.00-5.00pm.

We appreciate your support.

Friday night members' draw and new Clubhouse happy hour times

Don't forget, weekly members' draw commences this Friday 21st October. The members’ draw is a cash prize which is drawn every Friday night at 6.15pm and increases by $20 each week until there is a lucky winner.

But remember, you have to be there  to win it! One name is drawn each week – so don’t miss out!

As of Wednesday 19th October Clubhouse happy hour times will be Wednesdays and Fridays from 5.00-6.00pm.  Free nibbles & bar snacks provided and look out for some "surprise" happy hours.

See you at the Clubhouse!
