Thanks to all SDG families and kids who generously gave their time on Sunday to the Bunnings sausage sizzle fundraiser. The weather and the customers were kind to us and we managed to cook and sell over one thousand sausages and 20kg of onions.
As expected the Professor of BBQ’s Craig Dredge was the master organiser and advisor during the day and when combined with Scott Newman’s ‘just in time’ supply chain analysis, no customer was left waiting (for too long anyway)
The great news though - we managed to raise $2K which will be put to good use throughout the coming season.
