From Greg Schulz

The family of Robert (Bob) Schulz would like to sincerely thank the management and staff of the Adelaide Sailing Club for their support as we celebrated his life (99 years). The food supplied was exceptional and our thanks go to Amanda for doing such a great job and also to Karen, Sally, Cara, India and Fiona for looking after us so well.

Bob joined the Glenelg Sailing Club in 1965 and although he never sailed himself he enjoyed his involvement with the Club. He worked in the tower for many years and later with “Dads Navy” doing maintenance on the building and rescue boats. He was 80 years old when he built a new trailer for one of the Club’s rescue boats.  He was surprised but honoured when presented with his life membership.

On a personal note I would like to thank the many members who went out of their way to offer their condolences on hearing of Dads passing, it was much appreciated.
